Extensions themselves do not damage your natural nails. Damage usually occurs during improper removal or if the natural nail bed is over-filed during preparation. At Hetal's, we prioritize the health of your natural nail and use safe removal techniques.
It depends on your lifestyle and nail type. Acrylics are incredibly hard and durable, great for those who use their hands a lot. Hard gel is more flexible, feels lighter, and looks slightly more natural, but is best for those who aren't excessively rough on their nails. We can consult with you before your appointment to decide!
Please arrive with bare nails if possible (unless booking a removal/refill). We recommend bringing inspiration photos for nail art. Avoid applying heavy hand creams right before your appointment as oils can interfere with product adhesion.
